Matthew Jones, President & CEO/Owner/Agent
Matthew Jones, President and CEO, was born and grew up on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. In 2015, he moved to Florida at the age of 20. Matthew went right into the insurance business doing Surety work and quickly became a bail bondsman. In 2012, he became the Managing General Agent for Sun Surety in the state of Florida and managed over 40 agencies. Matthew has served in a variety of leadership roles with the Florida Bail Agents Association including as treasurer and board member in 2015 and President in 2016 where he actively worked with the Legislature. In 2016, Jones Family Insurance also expanded and started doing work with personal and commercial insurance policies. Matthew has an 11 year old daughter, Gabriella who attends school at Charlotte Prep where Matthew serves as Board President and has served as a board member, treasurer and member of the finance committee. As an active community member, Matthew enjoys giving back to the community. He also graduated from Leadership Charlotte.
Sadie Hineline
Sadie is the Customer Service Representative for Jones Family Insurance Agency’s Punta Gorda location in southwest Florida. An original “jersey girl, she currently resides in the Port Charlotte area. Sadie is currently also attending college for her bachelor’s degree in International Business. Prior to joining our team, she worked as the general manager for Port Charlotte’s local Kid Star Arcade and Party business for over four years. In the future Sadie hopes to further her career in the insurance industry as she completes college. In Sadie’s spare time she enjoys the beach, fishing, kayaking and being outdoors. She also enjoys spending time with her friends and family especially her sweet son.
Angela Pennell, Office Assistant
Angela, Office Assistant with Jones Family Insurance, has over 20 years of customer service experience including Management Service in criminal and family law and bail bonds. She is a strong believer in the power of positive thinking in the workplace and at home. She has lived in Florida since 2003 and in Charlotte County for over 17 years. Angela has been married to her husband Randy for 12 years and between the two of them have five beautiful accomplished children and seven beautiful grandchildren. She notes quite a few blessings and accomplishments in her life. Other than her children, her greatest successes include: serving as a cheer coach for high school football and basketball for six years, working as the President of Pop Warner for two years and being chosen Volunteer of the Year. On the weekends you may find Angela at the beach, traveling or riding motorcycle with her husband. She collects shells, sharks teeth and loves anything with strawberries or lemons and her biggest passion besides her husband is definitely cooking.
